Although it's been a bit since I arrived for my trip,
I just wanted to post the
despite the - almost hospital injuries for four consecutive days - setbacks
we got to see and expirience alot in those few days!

Monday Morning

It's final!

Monday morning
Tania, Michelle, my father and i will be leaving and driving east

we're not too sure exactly where but we know for sure we'd like to visit
spots like nova scotia and what not

Hopefully the big blue van will make it all the way there and back.
I'll attempt to keep this updated but I'm not quite sure how often we'll be within internet reach
spending most of our nights sleeping from the van or from our tents

Since

Well, it's been quite awhile since I arrived from my trip

but due to many plans and a hectic 2 weeks,
i have been unable to post what's been going on recently

tracing back to three days after i arrived,
the day of my sisters suprise bbq party
a lovely, relaxing night

then after a busy week

of work, story telling, outings, and bedroom re-construction

i was able to get my everyday life back on track
also, i found some photos of my friend michelle

way back before i had left on my trip

a few nights ago, i was able to catch my sister for some shots

which came out quite nicely!

and create a new photo banner

A few nights later, the day ended with me driving to a nearby city
to pick up a friend jynee, and find our way over to michelles

where we spent the entire night city wandering just to watch the

(sunless) sunrise.

and a few shots of jynee on her own

and about three days ago, i took a few photos of my brother

it's always a pleasure taking pictures of my brother goofing off

On Sunday, after a quick shift at work, i headed home to take advantage of the last few hours

with my mother and brother

a few hours later we dropped them off at the airport

so they could make their way to Portugal for three weeks

now just like old times,

it's just me, my sister and dad

i've had so many creative ideas running through my mind lately,
not only for photography but also for paintings and prints


i hope i can get them down before i forget them all.

A lovely and talented singer, Olivia Ruiz,
has been playing in my mind non stop these past few days.

very exciting news (for me),
a few months a friend and talented singer, Vince Mirenzi

had asked me to take a few promo photos for his myspace
and today i was suprised to see this new myspace banner,
a shot from that bunch



wish the best of luck to him

The next few days will be more of a preparation period,

voyage de route #9 - fin

well,

i'm home

plane landed yesturday

i'm home, i'm glad to be home
with my family
(and the 2 annoying girls who are considered part of my family)
but i miss it there and the people who i've grown close to
and it hasn't even been a day


it'd be nice if i could write a long suave note about how this trip has
done something magnificent and inspirational to me
but if i try i can never really put it into words


i'm happy

Bonjour! j'ai arrive a la france

well, it`s probably best if i back track a few days

on the 29th, rafa and i went over to marcellos
to have a farewell barbeque.
It was a night filled with laughter and great ideas

the next day was spent packing
some last minute chocolate shopping
and more goodbyes
and that night rafaela and i wandered the city one last time
and found the bar we were trying to find all break.

the next day, rafa and i made our way to the train station at 12oclock
and hopped onto two trains and finally arrived in paris at 6pm
greeted by my uncle, we made our way to his house
to have a dinner with the family and freshen up.

At 11 30 pm, we parted and met with Adrien and began driving to Belgium
beautiful car ride and random stops



















finally we found this motel at 4 am



and slept until 8am, were we then made our way to the city
to finalise some papers for rafaela and Adriens future school.
We wandered the city

















and finally recived the key to there new apartment
filled with excitment, they began unpacking











At 7pm that day, we began our way back to Bordeaux, France
after a long night of driving
and an amazing light show







we finally arrived back in Bordeaux at 5 30 am,
were i then took a quick nap before starting the day
and helping rafa and adrien get ready for the following day

the day flew by and the next thing we new, the following morning
we arrived at the airport and said our goodbyes
Rafaela and Adrien were departing for Tahiti
a 24 hour flight

which left me and my cousin
Sandrine
to make our way to St.Catherines for
probably one of my most favourite things of bordeaux:
the month of sales
it's incredible

having purchased everything on my list, me, sandrine and my aunt and uncle
headed to my uncles sister's house for a very big family dinner
we arrived home in the early hours of the morning and went to bed.

the next day sandrine's close friend slept over,
even though theyre only 12, they already have a passion to become models
so i offered to take some photos of them,
naturals i think
