voyage de route #3

well these past few days, just like all the others, have been incredible.

yesturday morning, we woke up around lunch time, made some spring rolls
also known as "Nems"

and we headed off to St Emilion, known as the worlds greatest wine vineyard
and the oldest city in Bordeaux

a lovely little place.

From there, we headed too Rafaela's old home in the little town of "bourg sur gironde"

after a beautiful walk in the hills, we came home and napped our heart away.

That night, we thought it was best if i had a feel for the french night life,
probably the funnest and liveliest i've seen in a very long time.

We headed to a bar called "Frog and Rosbeef"
a few drinks and jokes later, we decided to wander the streets to complete our goal
find the perfect Kebab.

we walked the streets into the late hours of the night
it's beautiful, calming and strange
so unlike back home.

______________

The following morning, we woke up, packed our back of fruits and veggies
and headed out

we walked through a very beautiful park nearby and set up our picnic there
ate some sandwiches, had some tomatoes, fed some birds

from there we went into town and arrived at possibly
one of my most memorable places in Bordeaux

The Coffee Shop
this place is incredible inside

we continued wandering the streets and shops

and finally found our way back home after a day filled with walking.

___________

We filled the night with last minute packing, scurring around, and goodbyes

Tomorrow we leave for Switzerland
we have 3 trains to catch in order to get there

first, we catch a train from Bordeax to Paris which i think is around 2 hours
then in Paris we catch the metro subway to get to another train station
which will take us to Basel, Switzerland which is about 4 hours
then the last one is from Basel to Luzern which should be about 2 hours

i have no idea how switzerland except for mountains
i'm excited to see where i land tomorrow

goodnight
